DMCA & Copyright Policy
TeraboxPlay respects the intellectual property rights of creators and content owners and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512, "DMCA") and international copyright legislation.
It is our policy to respond expeditiously to clear, valid notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements of the DMCA.
1. Non-Hosting Service Nature
Please note that TeraboxPlay does not host, store, index, or archive any media files, video files, or user uploads on our servers.
Our platform operates purely as an automated, transient link proxy and video player interface. When a user inputs a URL, the application connects directly to the third-party cloud storage host (such as TeraBox) where the user or content owner originally uploaded the file. The media content resides exclusively on the servers of those third-party providers.
Because no copyrighted files reside on TeraboxPlay servers, the most effective way to remove infringing content is to request removal directly from the cloud host (TeraBox) where the file is physically stored.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or an authorized representative thereof, and believe that a link processed through our site infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal notification to our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following details:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including the specific URL or link on TeraboxPlay or the original share URL.
- Sufficient contact information, including your legal name, physical mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
3. Designated Agent & Submission
All formal DMCA takedown requests should be sent directly to our designated copyright email:
Please allow 1 to 2 business days for our compliance team to review and block the reported link across our proxy network.
